Cocoa was dumped at an SPCA severely matted, and after 6 months in a cage, a handful of rescuers got together and pulled her from the shelter and brought her to a Spay & Save foster home. She was so badly matted that it hurt her to be petted anywhere but on her head, and walking was 'restrained' by the huge mats on her sides and legs. Once the mats were removed, she bacame SUCH a loving kitty who can't get enough of being stroked and petted! Cocoa will take a few months to grow her coat back in fully, and she will always need regular brushing (which she thoroughly enjoys) to keep from becoming matted again. Cocoa is looking for a quiet home as an only kitty to be loved and petted and doted on as she deserves.
